God answers

 

It was just yesterday when i questioned God; do you ever hear my prayers? For it is not easy when you have to wait for an answer, it can really test your patience.

Sorry God. I shouldn't have lashed out at you like that.

I guess sometimes God's answers are not what we expected. Sometimes it involves waiting. That's the tough part. And sometimes we don't understand why or how or when. But the Lord says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8

As Habakkuk complained;

How long, O Lord, must I call for help,

but you do not listen?

Or cry out to you, “Violence!”

but you do not save? 

The Lord replied;

         Look at the nations and watch—

and be utterly amazed.

For I am going to do something in your days

that you would not believe,

even if you were told. 

This part speaks to me the most, and i shall remind myself whenever i get tired of waiting;

Though it linger, wait for it;

it will certainly come and will not delay.
