A day out with Miss Fong

It has been soooo long since i met up with good friends. It has also been soooo long since i talk non-stop. Funny how one can be talkative and yet quiet at the same time. So, today was wonderful not only because it was fun but i finally got to really talk to a friend.

We went for lunch.

miss fong as thin n pretty as ever!

And we went to midvalley next but made a wrong turn and almost got lost but luckily we only end up in a traffic jam and manage to u-turn back.

jammm...

Then watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice which was funny and quite good.

And we ate lots of stuff. Haha.
no this is just  fake food but it looks pretty

ah this is real of course

On the way back, we got lost, AGAIN! yeah, sounds very stupid..how is it possible to get lost from midvalley to um but we're first-timers..first time going all by ourselves. And we missed another turning and lost our way. Finally we sought directions from the petrol station in the middle of nowhere and found our way back.

We enjoyed ourselves, albeit getting lost several times. But it was a good road-learning experience, and it gives us a sense of accomplishment, so losing our way doesn't really matters. As a friend once said, 'all roads lead to our destination, it's only a matter of time getting there.' And that is a good thing to remember when you're lost. ;)

Dreams

A poem i wrote as tribute to all my wonderful dreams that help me escape reality momentarily. :)

Dreams are rolling in,
like dark clouds before a storm.
Ever so slowly their tendrils creep
and find their way inside my sleep.
As i lay
unaware,
of anything and everything except
the vivid images in my mind
telling tales that compel and bind.

In those dreams of mine,
I fly. I laugh. I cry.
I am a princess. I am a peasant.
I am a pirate. I am a spy.
I am a man. I am a ghost.
I am whoever I want to be.
I am free to be me.

But as the moon gives way to the sun
and the first ray of light
quietly sneaks by,
the dreams end,
abrupt.
Leaving the dreamer hollow again
with only a trace of tingling warmth.
Nothing but mere pleasantries,
in a life filled with uncertainties.
